Default Sunday 06.28.09 Cool Night Ride
Tired of all the night rides being in some crowded bar in the middle of town???

How about a ride in the woods at night / near night guys!

Sunrise: 6:44am
Sunset: 8:19pm
Moonrise: 1:39pm
Moonset: none
First Qtr: 5:00pm

We can meet at my place at 7:30 do a ride while still light up to some of our favorite roads!
Take a break at a watering hole I like
Then head back around 9:00 for a nice easy paced ride back to the east.

If anyone want to check tire pressures or get a squirt of chain lube I have stands / compressor and supply's.

So, here's the story...

Most of you remember when I had that "mis-hap" with a vulture on a Sunday ride a few months back.

Well, I had another close encounter a few weeks back on another ride with another vulture!

Then, tonight...

We're rounding a nice tight right hander on the way back from our ride, and an OWL swoops down over Wayne (almost hitting him) and lands in the road directly in front of me.

WHAM.

Little bastard pushed the ring under the radiator right out of its mount. Luckily, Wayne was able to push it back in and nothing looks broken.

Bad news is, when I got to the corner of Saxon and Normandy, while waiting for the light to change, I swear I smelled BBQ... So I'll be pulling fairings off tomorrow to see what's in there.

On an unrelated note, FREE BBQ WINGS at my place tomorrow night.
